Job Description
THE COMPANY:
Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are recruiting for a Management Accountant, for a well loved charity within Rotherham
The charity has contracts throughout the North and they are looking for a Management Accountant support the Head of Finance.
THE JOB:
This is a full time, permanent position, offering hybrid working, and study support should you wish to explore this.
Within this role, you will contribute to the delivery of efficient and effective financial services, as a part of the wider finance team. As well as focusing on building joined up customer services. As well as this you will:
Hold responsibility for the production of the routine monthly management accounts information, ensuring the accounts are hit within relevant deadlines
Produce income and expenditure financial forecasts on a quarterly basis
Ensure deprecation is run on a monthly basis and reflected accurately in the nominal ledger
Support the Head of Finance with setting up new customers and suppliers in the financial ledgers and the routine paying of suppliers
Assist in the completion of a cost allocation model for the organisation
Maintain the budget model within the finance system, making amendments as approved by board
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar position, or someone looking for a step up within finance, to eventually become a qualified Management Accountant. As well as this you will:
Thorough understanding of the principles of financial control
Experience of working in a high pressure environment, working to strict deadlines
Good analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex information
Confident with Microsoft Office
Be able to build and maintain effective working relationships, and describe financial information to those who may not be as financially literate
