Job Description
We are delighted to be exclusively engaged again by our Melksham based client, this time to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their very well-established finance team. This is a newly created position, and you will be supporting the team and the Finance Manager.
As Management Accountant your main purpose will be to provide support to the Finance Function including but not limited to:
* Complete Management Accounting duties including posting journals, reconciliations and producing reports.
* Complete purchase invoice approval
* Provide profitability analysis
* Do monthly Job Costing and Sales Analysis
* Monthly and Quarterly updating the head office accounting system
* Produce site Profit & Loss with appraisals
* Provide divisional Job Cost Analysis
To secure the post and succeed, you will need to:
* Ideally be CIMA qualified, passed finalist or similar
* Have an aptitude for accuracy and strong attention to detail
* Be highly IT literate with advanced Excel skills (including complex formulae, sum if etc)
* Have a good sense of business acumen
* Strong analytical, data gathering, and problem-solving skills are essential
* Be self-managing and own your own workload to meet tight deadlines
* Have excellent communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
This is an office-based position, with a talented team of people and an interesting sector to work in and account for.
You can expect to be well remunerated up to £55k p/a plus 26 days holidays (bank holidays on top), pension and other company benefits.
