Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant | Lincoln
We are currently working alongside a highly successful SME business in Lincoln who are looking for a Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to work as part of their finance team. The company is a well-established business within a niche market. This role will take responsibility for the management and processing of the purchase and sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliation's, payroll admin and assisting the accountant at month-end.
Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant duties will include: –
* Purchase ledger: inputting invoices, statement reconciliation's, payment runs and dealing with queries
* Sales Ledger: Processing / raising sales invoices, allocation of payments and associated admin
* Credit Control: managing and chasing outstanding debt.
* Assisting with month-end close and preparing the management accounts
* Daily bank reconciliation's, accruals and prepayments
* Ad hoc duties as required
The successful candidate be ideally part qualified ACCA/ CIMA or AAT with associated experience at this level.
