Job Description
JOB TITLE: Management Accountant / Finance Accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Manager / Accounting Manager

COMMUTABLE FROM: Willerby, Hessle, Cottingham, South Cave, Goole, Brough, Barton upon Humber

COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is a leading food manufacturing company who are looking for Management Accountant to join their Finance team. The company have several sites across the UK and supply to the major supermarkets

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or working toward
• Confident & professional
• A high level of motivation / self-drive
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to question current systems and procedure and suggest and implement improvements
• Highly Proficient with the use of Microsoft Excel (Pivots and VLOOKUP)
• Fantastic attention to detail
• Able to maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to prioritise
• Good written and spoken communication skills

DUTIES:

Ledger and bank:
• Post supplier and customer invoices
• Process goods received notes and prepare weekly reconciliation
• Prepare weekly supplier statement reconciliations
• Chase overdue payments and ensure general ledger maintenance
• Process weekly payments and perform weekly bank reconciliation

Assist with the preparation of the weekly management accounts, ensuring that:
• Prepare weekly stock file to ensure that all stock is accounted for on a weekly basis
• Ensure that all orders have been placed on a purchase order and are included with accruals
• Ensure that all agency staff costs are accurately reflected in the weekly management accounts
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Assist with preparation of payroll as and when required
• Ad-hoc project work
