Job Description
CMA Recruitment Group are proud to be working on behalf of a well-known organisation based in Farnborough, assisting their search for two permanent Management Accountant roles.

As a Management Accountant with the accounting team, this role delivers key finance and accounting outputs to the business. You will work independently and deliver to tight timescales whilst providing first class financial advice and support to project and programme managers.

What will the Management Accountant  role involve?

Leading on month end processes for a specific business area, ensuring that all journals posted to the accounts are timely and accurate;
Have a detailed understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet of the business area you support, be able to provide detailed commentary and answer questions from Team Leads, Business Finance and other interested stakeholders;
Support the Business finance team with forecasting and budgeting rounds for your area, ensure the relevant information is extracted from the reviews and the numbers provided are appropriate and accurate for submission;
Review of bids against standard checklist for compliance with process, completeness and accuracy of the financial data and modelling included;
Other ad hoc reporting required from key stakeholders and Team Leads;
Supervision of an Assistant Management Accountant.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

AAT qualified or actively studying ACCA/CIMA. Qualified by experience candidates will also be considered if they can demonstrate experience of the above responsibilities within a previous role;
Previous experience within a management accounting role, preferably within a medium to large business;
Effective communicator with the ability to support and partner with non-finance stakeholders;
Good understanding of Excel – Pivot Tables and VLookups.
