Job Description
Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an established multi-site business at their site near Exeter. This is a new role due to continued growth within the business, with exciting times ahead!

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be business facing and take responsibility for:

* Monthly management accounts including variance analysis for the business and its subsidiaries

* Monthly rolling cashflows and profit & loss

* Delivering the weekly KPIs for the sites to measure performance and recommend improvement plans

* Managing, producing and presenting yearly budgets and KPIs

* Overseeing VAT, PAYE, company secretarial and fixed asset management

* Capital investment modelling and monthly capex

* Assist with the regulatory body reporting

* Identifying business risks, ensuring key business and financial controls are operating as required.

* Continually developing systems and processes within the company.

* Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Finance Director

Management Accountant – The Rewards:

Salary: £35,000 – £48,000pa depending on experience
Benefits: include: holiday, pension, life assurance and income protection, free parking and a generous annual bonus.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri)
Location: Primarily office based with some flexibility for hybrid.

Management Accountant – The Person:

* Strong track record / recent experience of management accounting, balance sheets and VAT.

* Technical knowledge and experience to ensure timely and accurate management reporting and analysis.

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport, you will be working closely with colleagues across the business including non-finance management.

* Excel skills including use of formulas, look ups and pivot tables are essential.

* Self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced business, and ambition to grow with the business.

* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant, although applications from candidates with the necessary experience who are part-qualified or qualified by experience are also welcome.

Please note due to location (near junction 30 of M5) candidates will need to drive and have their own transport.

This role is commutable from Exeter, Tiverton, Cullompton, Exmouth, Newton Abbot and surrounding areas.
