Job Description
Acorn Recruitment is currently recruiting a Management Accountant on behalf of their client based in Ebbw Vale.
Our client is a specialist manufacturing multinational with sites across the UK. This post will be responsible for the internal management accounting, costing and other related tasks along with supporting the central HQ with accurate and timely reporting.
This position is a full-time role with 37 hours per week. The position offers a salary from £35,000 to £38,000 per annum along with various benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce monthly management accounts, journals and variance analysis in line with group deadlines
* Manage the costing process to ensure costs and variances are aligned and thoroughly analysed
* Reporting on sales, margins and labour costs analysis and forecasts
* Discount and sales rebates tracking along with monthly journals
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
* Produce key MI for CFO and management team on regular intervals
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a management accounting role for a medium to large manufacturing company
* Professionally qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or substantial experience
* Good understanding of standard costing and sales margins
* Good experience working to group reporting deadlines
* Excellent communication skills and able to articulate and present effectively
* Preferably experienced with SAP
* Excellent IT skills including the use of advanced Excel features like Pivots, Lookups and other tools
