Job Description
Radar Recruitment are exclusively supporting an existing client with their requirement for an Interim Financial Consultant following a period of change and the need for a hands-on operator to have a significant impact on the performance and speed of which reporting is carried out. The role will report into the Senior Leadership Team, have responsibility for training of staff, organising reporting processes to ensure delivery of management accounts and month end in a timely manner, and to support a notice period crossover. We imagine with relevant notice periods and hand-over allocation the role will run for approximately 6 months. The position will suit an individual who is happy to lead from the front, can be flexible and reactive to a fast-moving environment and has operated in a similar capacity. Role sits outside of IR35 and will pay between £500 and £600 per day Ltd Co.

Profile:

* Formally Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) happy to consider QBE with proven records

* Prior experience in an operational company, the ability to manage a fast-paced environment will be crucial

* Established Finance leader, ideally looking for people who have previously operated as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, Finance Director or has successfully completed a number of contract assignments

* This role regardless of seniority requires an individual who is happy to roll their sleeves up, we want someone who can lead from the front, train and motivate by example and deliver on improving the accuracy of relevant reporting, be it management accounts or statutory requirements

* Expert with accounting systems and advanced user of MS Excel

* Can demonstrate a resilient and positive attitude towards challenges

* Understands business requirements quickly and can adapt to suit the needs of an ever-changing environment
