Job Description
RG Consultancy are working with an established company in the Wigan area who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their finance team.
Working closely with the Financial Controller this role is to take full responsibility for the Credit Control within the finance function.
Responsibilities include:
* Control of the credit control function and service the sales ledger
* Pro-actively recover debts and reduce the debtor dates
* Posting payments onto the system
* Ensure all payments received are invoiced
* Weekly reporting on outstanding debts
* Monthly reporting on extended terms
* Credit check new customers
* Weekly updates of sales spreadsheet
The ideal person will have experience in a credit control role and will be able to use your own initiative to pro-actively reduce debts and manage the sales ledger.
The working hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and offers holidays of 24 days plus bank
