Indirect Tax Manager – Civil Engineering/Construction Business

We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading engineering companies. They deliver cutting edge solutions across the civil engineering and construction sectors including rail, highways, airport, marine, energy, water, and environmental infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

The Indirect Tax Manager will be responsible for indirect tax (VAT, CIS and Customs) compliance and provision of tax technical advice for all the UK Group companies and associated entities. 

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to support senior stakeholders?

What we need you to bring to the business:

Qualified tax or finance professional (ACCA, ACA or CTA)

Demonstrable UK VAT knowledge with experience gained within either professional practice or industry.

Strong, technical UK tax knowledge

Knowledge of CIS and/or Customs Duties preferable (or willingness to learn)

A self-starter and independent worker with strong interpersonal skills.

Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
