Job Description
Lisa Wright Recruitment are recruiting a Group Financial Controller to work for an international leader within the technology market. As Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the groups’ financial and commercial planning, analysis, forecasting and budgeting worldwide. Hybrid working is available however, you will be required to spend time in the office each week therefore must live within reasonable commuting distance of the offices in Peterborough.
Group Financial Controller duties will include:
* Preparing month end consolidated reports for the group
* Preparation of draft consolidated annual accounts and returns
* Oversight of the groups audit and tax functions
* Oversight of group payroll systems and functions
* Managing cashflows and working capital
* Working with the board in developing financial procedures, planning and strategy for the group
To be considered for the Group Financial Controller role you will need:
* A UK degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance
* Strong knowledge of UK Taxation law (US and German tax law knowledge would be advantageous)
* Highly proficient in MS Excel, Sage, QuickBooks
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within the technology sector.
