Job Description
Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a well-established and fast paced manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Flint. Our client is seeking a Graduate Accountant to join their busy team on a permanent basis, offering future progression and significant exposure to all areas of the business. Ideally the successful candidate would have recently graduated from University with an Accountancy and Finance related degree, attaining a 2:1 or above. Joining a dynamic, well experienced finance team and reporting to the Divisional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities will include:

* Responsibility of handling the weekly sales reporting for the division, ensuring accuracy and reliability

* Supporting and upholding key reporting reconciliations for the month end accounting

* Consolidation of the divisional financial data

* Updating and maintaining the finance system accurately

* Taking full lead on reporting for monthly regional and divisional packs

* Identify and aid the finance team with future reporting developments

* Continuous development of SAP system

* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues

Skills/Experience

* Graduate within an Accountancy and Finance related degree, attaining a 2:1 or above/started or eager to start CIMA/ACCA qualification

* Good Excel & Word skills essential

* Must have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work to tight deadlines

* Strong written and communication skills

* Working as part of a team

Salary/Benefits

* £23,000-£25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

* Hybrid working (2 days at home and 3 days office based)

* Working hours 8.15am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 8.15am-4pm
