French Speaking Credit Specialist

A French Speaking Credit Specialist is required by an Outsourcing Contact Centre based in a prestige tower building with excellent facilities and company perks in Preston, Lancashire.

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to contact and support large business customers receiving telecommunications services across Canada, Caribbean, and Latin America (CCLA) regions by telephone and email. The Credit Specialist must engage the right customer contact, establish the root-cause for non-payment, secure a payment commitment and deliver an effortless customer experience on every interaction.

Key Role info:

This Role is based 100% on Site (PR1 1AF)
£19,500 starting salary rising to £21,000 + Performance based monthly bonus opportunity
Shift premium for unsociable hours 
Must be fluent in both English & French
First 2 weeks of training is typically 9.00AM – 5.00PM
A diverse team based on the same floor with a good atmosphere.
Shift Patterns

Monday – Friday 12:30pm – 8:30pm & 2:30pm – 10:30pm
Shift Premium: Hourly rate + 10% extra between 5:30pm – 8:00pm
Shift Premium: Hourly rate + 20% extra between 8:00pm – 10:30pm
The Credit Specialist must aim to

Maintain high quality standards on every customer interaction
Identify issues and facilitate resolution to ensure customers pay their invoices on time
Exceed individual and Team level key performance indicators
Exceed Performance and Productivity measures
What you will be doing:

Adhere to client data protection and security policies
Create and analyse reports for the portfolio of customer accounts assigned to you
Utilise various tools available to locate customer contacts
Verify the right customer contact(s) responsible to pay invoices, by telephone
Understand the reason(s) for non-payment and create urgency through effective questioning
Gain customer commitment to collect payments immediately and settle all overdue accounts
Aim to set up electronic invoicing (to replace paper bills) for customers on every opportunity
Remove roadblocks that may prevent customers from paying on time in the future
Attend conference call with internal business partners
Open any relevant billing disputes and missing payment investigations
Complete allocations for unapplied credits and payments to resolve overdue accounts
Initiate customer feedback surveys via email for all two-way interactions
Enter clear and concise notation for all activities in Collections systems and Team trackers
The Credit Specialist must possess the following:

Experience of working in a Credit / Collections environment is desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication
Fluent in English and French (verbal & written)
Confident in telephone and email interactions with customers
Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Sound judgement and decision making
Analytical and problem solving
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and set priorities
Motivated to exceed performance measures
Able to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Actively participate in Team building activities
