Fraud Reporting Officer – The Role:
The main purpose of this role is to provide daily, weekly, monthly reporting to stakeholders when required. Additionally, ad-hoc report requests will also be required. Support of the fraud systems manager will be necessary in various ah-hoc tasks required by the team.
Project management support, acting as deputy Salesforce champion, raising new change requests for the department when requested.
Supporting the fraud solution and stakeholders across the business, by providing reporting and analysis of rule performance when required. Departmental month end reporting, producing statistics and summaries in line with the requirements of the monthly reporting pack
Fraud Reporting Officer – Key Responsibilities:
– Production of daily reporting associated with declines, reviews, and general fraud system performance
– Highlighting of decline / review anomalies within fraud alerts, to management for further review when required
– Attend management and other meetings when Management is not available/as requested.
– Assisting/Substituting peers as considered necessary
– Identify and explore new approaches and data sources to support improvements to existing and new fraud strategies
– Ability to anticipate problems, opportunities, and the initiative to pursue solutions.
– Maintain weekly open Jira projects, updating tickets and providing to actions to management where required
– Complete Risk department monthly MI reporting pack
– Creation of internal and external Guides/ presentations / training material as required
– Creating Procedures and Forms to make work more efficient within the team and when there needs to be communication with other departments
– Process improvements – Review all tasks undertaken and consider improvements for us as a team and the out reaching department
– Share monthly required reports with Senior management as required
– Supporting and verifying rule changes to the fraud management solution when required. Validating of data before sharing with stakeholders to ensure reporting is shared accurately first time
Fraud Reporting Officer – You:
– Must be able to work to a high level of accuracy
– Strong analytics background, with the ability to produce high standards of data
analytics and visualisations.
– Be able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
– Strong self-starter and motivator
– Can think for themselves and act
– Meticulous, conscientious, and systematic
– Detail oriented with good organizational skills
– Conscientious, reliable, and hardworking and able to work with minimal
supervision.
– Analytical skills to identify and assess potential security issues
– Good communication skills and high standard of written/verbal communication
is essential
– Preferably Knowledge of card scheme operating regulations
– Preferably Good understanding of fraud and chargeback analysis and processes.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel & PowerPoint
