Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Credit Controller to join a market leading environmental consultancy organisation based in Leeds.
Reporting directly to the Credit Manager and working in a team of experienced credit controllers you will undertake a varied and challenging role which will include:
*Collection of the company's debtors, to process sales ledger and accounting data efficiently.
*Effective resolution of billing queries
*Dealing with month-end statements
*Assisting of reporting
*Reporting to the Credit Manager the status of work and highlighting any problems, including offering suggestions on how to resolve them
*Maintaining the Sales Ledger
*Processing of new accounts
*Credit checks and assessments
*Monitoring of credit risk for new and existing customers
*Providing a quality service to external clients
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below:
*Previous experience within a similar credit control/finance administration position.
*Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
*Experience with software systems such as Access/Sage would be advantageous although not essential.
