FP&A Manager / Accountant

An opportunity has been created at this small but growing specialist insurance business. As this insurer embarks on their next growth phase they are recruiting for an experience insurance accountant to grow and take ownership of their FP&A function.

Supporting the senior finance leadership this role will cover a wide range of finance responsibilities including:

Assisting with the group reporting
Monthly and quarter end reporting responsibilities
FP&A including budgeting, planning.
Full P&L analysis for the group entities
Accounts production and assist with year end

The arc of this role is initially to be involved with a wide range of finance tasks but as the business quickly grows, this position will take on full ownership of the FP&A functionality and focussing solely on the business partnering aspects working closely with the head of business lines.

This role would suit a hand on, commercially driven qualified accountant with demonstrable experience of working within the insurance / reinsurance markets. Someone who is happy to work in a wide finance role, while leaning the business but wanted to become an FP&A Leader / Business Partner.
