Job Description
LHH is currently working with a highly successful organisation in their search for an Interim Financial Controller or similar for a minimum of 6 months to manage an external audit from one of the big 4.
Based very close to Burgess Hill, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that focuses on collaboration and communication.
Key responsibilities will include:
Act as the first point of contact for the external auditors before, during and after their fieldwork.
Ensuring the timely provision of information, explanation of consolidation adjustments, answering their audit queries and coordinating the audit work
Ensure that Audit deliverables are given to the auditors in a timely manner, by managing internal stakeholders
Work closely with the Head of Finance to assist in the prepare of the year end statutory accounts
Supporting other areas of the finance team as and when neededKey skills / experience required:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Excellent people skills
Good systems / Excel skills
Very strong communication skillsThis interim role is being recruited on a day rate basis for a minimum of 6 months and is paying between £(Apply online only) a day. The company offers hybrid working but you may be required in the office more to start with and also if the auditors are on site.
