Job Description
NLB Solutions are recruiting in a exclusive partnership with a large construction business in Watford for a Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant must be an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant that has worked in an audit based role where they have been trained to keep an eye on the detail. The company are looking for someone to be in contact with external auditors and other areas of Group Finance. This will mean dealing with first draft Tax Computations, treasury, lease accounting and so much more.

The business have secure premises and on site facilities to help the teams join together and liaise closely with each other. The role is one that offers progression and a chance to influence the senior managers in a commercial manner going forward.

Duties:

* Audit co-ordination

* Central contact for external auditors

* Divisional and commercial head communication with audit requirements

* Statutory reporting – agree accounts with external auditors before year end

* Subsidiary statutory accounts

* Inhouse tax computations

* Resolve tax queries

* Assist with tax work as required

* Involvement in forecasts and quarterly accounting processes

* Complete central accounts

* Treasury assistance and reporting

Person spec:

* Qualified ACA or ACCA

* Ideally from an audit / audit and accounts preparation background
