Job Description
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are thrilled to be working with a successful business in the Doncaster area in their search for a Finance Team Leader!

Responsibilities:

* Support Finance Director
* Responsible for workflow management, delegation, and monitoring
* Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
* Responsible for all rota, holidays, lieu days and punctuality of accounts staff
* Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
* Communicate and monitor deadlines and KPI's to team members
* Promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
* Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
* Assisting with the posting of sales invoices and allocating receipts on the sales ledger
* Assisting in the coding and posting of purchase invoices
* Assist with on-line electronic banking
* Ensure timely month end reconciliations
* Assist with the daily cash handling and reconciliation of tills
* Deal with inbound telephone or email accounts enquiries from suppliers and customers
* Assist with payroll administrative duties as requested
* Undertake bank postings as directed
* Assisting with monthly management accounts including prepayments /accruals/VAT return

Person Specification:

* Must be a self-starter and keen to get stuck-in
* Previous experience in role with team leader experience
* Possess strong excel skills
