Job Description
RM Recruit are working with an established not-for-profit education provider to recruit a newly defined Finance Officer for their expanding team. This role is term time only and candidates who possess PS Financials experience are of high interest to our client. With outgoing nature, and with excellent attention to detail, this post would see you operate in a busy, front-line role supporting the finance team.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Assisting with monthly accounts
* Processing BACS runs
* Bank reconciliation
* Manage control accounts
* Processing of invoices
* Preparing and posting journals
* Income expenditure
* Posting financial transactions accurately
* Supporting the wider finance team with queries
* Raise invoices accurately and efficiently
* Maintain supplier records
* Aged debt/creditor reports/Supplier statement reconciliations
* Supporting the wider finance team with queries
This newly created post will have a 9-12 month duration. Our client can offer a hybrid and flexible working arrangement with office presence being 3-4 days Monday – Thursday and offering remote working on Fridays. Experience within the education sector (Schools, Multi-Academy Trust’s etc) would be highly advantageous but candidates from the wider not-for-profit and private sectors are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be immediately available or available on short notice and candidates who possess a valid DBS would be of great interest to our client.
