Job Description
Job Title: Finance Manager

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Location: Wakefield

This is a fantastic new and exciting stand alone role as a Finance Manager to a fast paced Wakefield manufacturing business. This well establishment business prides itself in being environmentally conscious and the installer of choice within the Yorkshire region.

This role will actively promote autonomy and ambition through the ability to work alongside the board and establish and manage day-to-day processes in a timely fashion. Through this role, you will have exposure to the MD and support and assistance from a sister company in the monthly reporting.

Key activities for the role will involve:

Manage day-to-day transactional accounts.
Daily Bank Reconciliations.
Purchase and Sales ledger.
Weekly CIS.
Monthly payroll.
VAT/ PAYE.
Cash Flow management.
Job costings.
Prepared to take on any Ad hoc duties that are required.

Your Profile

The ideal person for this role will be experienced and career driven, looking to work in a highly aspiring manufacturing business.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally:

Qualified (ACCA/AAT/CIMA).
5 years experience in a finance role/ 2 years in a similar role.
Experience of Sage line 50 and Sage Payroll would be advantageous.
Previous knowledge of CIS would be advantageous.
Willing to work well under pressure.
Home renovations/ construction knowledge is desirable
