Job Description
Just Recruitment is working with a global food producer, they are looking to add an experienced Finance Manager to their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with all processes, including implementation across the wider business team.

The key duties for this role include:
Drive monthly financial close process ensuring accurate financial results and requirements are complete within corporate timelines
Evaluate accounting policies and procedural control systems and work to improve effectiveness and compliance
Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budgets
Ownership of the audit process and delivery of key deliverables
Work with various stakeholders to support the development of understanding of key business
processes and develop commercial and operational understanding
Preparation of monthly management accounts and provide first input into monthly management
accounts

Specific requirements and experience needed for this role:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and appreciation of general accounting
Previous work in a manufacturing environment
Excellent Excel skills
Experience in preparing reports for key stakeholders
Excellent analytical and financial skills

The ideal candidate will be a team player as well as self-motivated. He or she will be highly organised and capable of managing a dynamic workload and will relish working with internal and external stakeholders. Will have a flexible approach and able to adapt quickly to a market driven strategic decisions, and of course a passion for food production!
