Job Description
RK Accountancy and Finance currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Manufacturing Company who are looking to bring in a Finance Manager into their growing business based in Huddersfield
This role will ideally suit a Qualified Accountant who has previous experience in a Manufacturing setting however they are willing to look at QBE candidates.
This role is full time and is fully office based.
Job Overview
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the financial health of the company. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
Preparation and submission of weekly cash flow forecast in accordance with Group timetable.
Manage relationships with key partners (Bank / Insurance / Pension).
Attend Business Control Team meetings.
Preparation and submission of management accounts reporting pack in accordance with Group timetable.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Check Corporation tax returns prepared by the auditors.
Responsible for monthly payroll.
Prepare and submit P11D’s.
Prepare half year forecast and submission in accordance with Group timetable.
Prepare statutory accounts for audit and submission of Group annual reporting package.
Maintain and analyze standard costing for reporting and valuation purposes
Prepare various reports as requested by management using MS Excel and IQMS SQL database using ODBC.
Monitor all financial aspects of IQMS (ERP System).
Reconcile key nominal accounts in preparation for month end.
Attend training courses linked to the Company and continuous development.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
About the Person
Several years experience of working in a Financial Role
Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) or QBE. Would also consider part qualified for right candidate
Previous experience in Manufacturing sector (desirable)
Microsoft Office and ERP
Sage Payroll
Ability to work under pressure
