Finance Manager

Full Time – Permanent

Location: Balerno, Edinburgh

Salary: Up to £40k

Reporting to: Head of Finance

The Role

My client has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their organisation on a permanent basis. The post holder will manage the small Finance Team and support the Head of Finance in overseeing all development, planning, operation and accountability of the Finance systems. Expected to provide sound financial information and advice, ensuring that information is transparent and understood They will ensure all statutory external requirements and regulations are complied with.

Significant experience of all financial reporting, including management accounts, budget preparation, cashflow reporting, audit process and budget management is an essential requirement for the role. The successful applicant should be a full or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CIPFA), with a thorough practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques and have significant payroll experience.

Budget and Cashflow
AuditThe post holder will be required to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
