FINANCE MANAGER| CLEAR ROUTE TO FD| HYBRID WORKING | £55-65,000 + BENS

Cherry Professional are exclusively working with a SME Engineering company based in Derby.  They are looking for an integral hire, someone who will support the MD in all Financial matters being strategic as well as hands on with the figures.  There is a clear route to FD and is envisaged this will happen within the next 18 months-3 years.  They are looking for someone who is willing to roll their sleeves up, look to make improvements and get involved with all Finance matters.
 
Role Purpose
The main purpose of the Finance Manager is to support the MD in all financial matters acting as the right-hand person in this remit.  You will have a team of 2 supporting you but you will ultimately be responsible for the Financial and management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, statutory accounts, liaison with the auditors, compliance and assisting the MD with achieving strategic goals.  This role is a hybrid role with attendance required once a week in Derby and another day a week at one of their offices in Buckinghamshire.
 
Who the Client is looking for…

You will be qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Have experience in financial management and able to manage staff

Have all-round accounting experience and have a “can-do” attitude
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to liaise at all levels
Organisation, time management skills and attention to detail
