Finance Manager – FMCG Job in Selby, North Yorkshire

Job Description
Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager, on behalf of a Major FMCG Organisation, based in Selby.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's ledgers, whilst being in full control of the balance sheet. You will be a key contact for the external auditors, and provide accounting support to the subsidiaries covering reporting, controls and compliance.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Maintenance of general ledgers
* Shared ownership with the FC of balance sheet inputs
* Reporting of financial accounting information as requested
* Manage month-end process and timescales
* GL / balance sheet reconciliations
* Review of VAT returns/Intrastat/NSO returns
* Provision of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory information
* Treasury Management
* Cash flow management and forecasting
* Management of fixed assets, verification and control
* Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and the external audit
* Comply with internal and external financial policies, standards and controls, whilst understanding the impact of own role on other areas
* Work with the business to drive, improve and enhance controls, documentation and the control framework

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical experience ideally working within the Manufacturing or FMCG sector.
