Job Description
Finance Manager
Job purpose: A Financial Manager will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to the Financial Controller and the business, make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as support with ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.
This role has been created following the growth of the group in recent years to assist the Financial Controller with the day to day management of the Finance Team.
The role will suit an individual who has extensive Purchase Ledger experience within the Construction Industry and enjoys working in a small and dynamic team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage 2 x Purchase Ledger clerks to ensure invoices have been coded correctly. • Checking and approving payment runs.
• Ensuring integrity of data/bank details on bank line.
• Daily transfers from CRM to Sage.
• Review CIS to ensure correct coding.
• Oversee CIS Returns & CIS queries.
• Oversee processing of expense claims.
• Processing debtors invoicing.
• VAT Returns x 3 Ltd companies.
• Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation.
• Payroll journal posting and reconciliation.
• Maintaining the fixed assets register.
• Prepayment and accruals calculations.
• P11D and PSA returns.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated in your role within the organisation.
