Job Description
Due to company success and continued growth we are looking for a Finance Business Partner with manufacturing experience. The role reports into the FD where you will be supporting an efficient month-end process, through to investigating variances where required. Monitoring and updating of daily cashflow forecasting. Promoting a process improvement environment, identifying opportunities and creating efficiencies.

The role is offered on a permanent basis, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm office based between Redditch (3 days a week) and Banbury (2 days a week)

Main Responsibilities for the Finance Business Partner

Supporting the month-end process within given timescales; to include processing routine journals; investigating variances; and suggesting corrective action were required
Preparation and review of monthly control account reconciliations
Supporting the preparation of reports and presentations in advance of Board Meeting
Assisting with the VAT return process
Managing the company car fleet and monitoring annual repair costs
Updating daily cashflow and highlighting variations
Building a close relationship with the commercial finance function to understand supplier funding
Promoting a process improvement environment across the business, identifying inefficiencies, suggesting and implementing improvements
Ad-hoc data analysis, reporting and presentation request
Ability to use advanced Excel to analyse, manipulate and present data effectively Skills, Experience, Knowledge, Competencies for the Finance Business Partner

Part qualified, qualifed, studying or qualified by experience CIMA/ACA/ACCA
Manufacturing experience
Intermediate level of MS office, with strong Excel
High level of numerical ability and accuracy
High level of attention to detail
Excellent time management, prioritizing and organizing skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships at all levels
Ability to work as part of a team
Self-motivated and able to make decisions
Flexible to change
Problem solving skills with a pro-active attitudeThe starting salary for the Finance Business Partner offered is circa £50,000.
