Are you a qualified, commercially minded Finance Business Partner with strong analysis skills looking for an exciting new project?
  
BMC Recruitment Group are delighted to be working alongside a well established business in the County Durham area who are looking to recruit a strong commercial and analytical Finance Business Partner on a full time permanent contract. 

As Finance Business Partner, you will be a key strategic member within the FP&A team, helping to assess the commercial performance of the business and establish the long term profitability through the financial analysis of the businesses revenue, costs, operations and client portfolio. 

You will be a creative thinker, able to see the bigger picture and have excellent project management skills with the ability to use their analytical skills, and apply them to broader commercial issues.

This is a hybrid remote working role – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home which can be negotiated to suit your needs. 

Please note; the salary is negotiable dependent on experience. 

Job Duties include:

Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies and improving performance
Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered
Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with senior managers and their teams Person Specification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (desirable)
Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA 
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong negotiation skills
Strong multitasking skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
