Job Description
A new and exciting position has arisen for 2 x Finance Assistant's to join an organisation within the education sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is looking to build a career in finance. The company are also open to providing study support towards an accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA OR ACCA)
Key Duties:
* Processing purchase orders accurately.
* Preparing weekly payment runs for approval
* Inputting staff expense claims onto school's finance system, and preparing weekly payment run
* Raising invoices, and matching to income on financial system
* Posting internal journal
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing income received onto school's financial system
* Reconciling third party income and expenditure and preparing journals.
* Work collaboratively with schools, for the benefit of all, when issues arising have potential implications for others.
* Be accountable for their work to the Headteacher, Governing Body, Finance and Business Manager and Operations Director.
Key Skills required:
* Basic to intermediate Excel skills
* Extremely IT/Accounts systems literate
* Great organisation skills
* Excellent communication skills
