Finance Assistant – study support Job in Chelmsford, Essex

Job Description
Fast growing, 100mil turnover manufacturing business in Chelmsford are seeking a Finance Assistant for a new role they have created. You will work in the finance team of 20 + and work closely with the management accountant to produce the accounts for multiple entities.

The client is looking for either an AAT studier with no experience OR someone with 6-12 months accounts experience, although you do not need any experience of management accounts. Full training will be provided.

Duties to include:

* Accurately maintain and reconcile the group bank accounts each day, and report any issues with the management accountant in a timely manner

*

Take ownership of the credit card expenditure process within the group and ensure that the statements are reconciled in line with the management account deadlines

*

Post various journals across the group companies to assist the Management Accountants when they are preparing the month end management accounts
