Job Description
Finance Assistant – Romsey SO51 – £23,000-£26,000

As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for a section of the sales and purchases invoicing. You will be required to build relationships to maximise cash flow and collections by engaging effectively with stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone keen to establish their skillset within the finance sector, as full training is provided.

Duties for the Finance Assistant:

• End to end invoice processing on SAP system
• Upload manual orders to SAP
• Reconciliation between sales orders received and goods dispatched by distribution service providers, to invoices in SAP
• Reconciliation between purchase orders created and goods received to raising the invoices in SAP
• Deal with any internal and external queries up to the invoicing stage, liaising internally where there are issues
• Provide support to the credit control and claims process when required
• Help with ad-hoc business tasks in the office

Candidate Competencies:

• A good attitude to work
• IT literature and competent in the use of Excel
• SAP systems or any similar system knowledge is desirable
• Confident, versatile telephone manner coupled with strong organizational skills.
• Pro-active approach, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Team player who is happy to work within a team and add value to the company

As a Finance Assistant, you will work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The salary is offering £23,000-£26,000 depending on experience. An offer is subject to a DBS check
