Job Description
Experienced Finance Assistant required to join a leading property firm based in Cheltenham, Gloucester, on a full or part time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a large company with an established finance team.

Finance Assistant Position Overview

Ensure all billing requirements and deadlines are achieved
Assist with overseeing POs and aged debt
Assist with overseeing WIP, forecasting and Mid-Month Flash reporting
To prepare client invoices sending out invoices
To ensure that invoicing meets all statutory/legislative requirements.
Maintain database integrity
Raising credit notes as required
Follow-up on timesheets
Proactive management of the billing
Produce relevant financial reports to Directors
Speak to clients directly regarding outstanding debt.
Record PO's submissions and approvals
Arrangement of internal transfers of fees when money has been paid into incorrect accounts
Arrange approvals to supplier in form of PO's
Update supplier invoice sheet
Update fee sheet for billingFinance Assistant Position Requirements

Ideally have an Accounting qualification (AAT or similar)
Previous working knowledge of preferred or other time recovery solution.
Good knowledge of Excel (formulae, pivot tables, Vlookups minimum) and working knowledge of other MS packages
Good communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Experience in operating Work in Progress (WIP)Finance Assistant Position Remuneration

£24,000 – £28,000 per annum, pro rata for part time
Work from home 3-4 days per week out of 5, Cheltenham based office
flexible working hours
20 days holiday + bank
