Job Description
Business Services Group based on the outskirts of Chichester, West Sussex, has an opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Manager to oversee the debt management and credit risk for the business in addition to developing improvements to existing processes.

What will the role involve?

Reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager, the key responsibilities of the role will include:

Management and continual development of the Credit Control and Sales Ledger teams ensuring that all internal policies are adhered to and where required, appropriate training is provided;
Ensure that the debtor ledger is maintained within agreed terms and where necessary appropriate action is taken to recover any overdue amounts either through agreed payment plans or liaison with the legal team;
Management of the credit risk authorisation process for all new clients, liaising with all necessary external parties to ensure suitable credit limits are set;
Preparation and distribution of the Credit Control Aged Debt arrears and KPI reports to key stakeholders within the business.
 Suitable candidate:

Applicants for the position will have previous experience of working within a similar position ideally within a business with a diverse client base including both corporate entities and individual clients;
Proven experience of managing a team successfully whilst also ensuring internal policies are reviewed and improvements are recommended and implemented where necessary, will be essential as will the ability to liaise with and present to senior stakeholders within a business.
 Additional information:

The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis with the successful applicant expected to attend the offices 3 days a week;
