Job Description
Our client is a market leader and a house hold name, they have a longstanding finance team and high performing Credit Function. Due to an internal promotion the team is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to become part of a well-established team of 7.

This role offers hybrid working, on site gym, 4.30pm finishes and much more

Your new role

– Managing your own ledger reporting directly to the team supervisor
– Regular ledger reviews making sure all accounts are kept up to date
– Onboarding and credit checking new accounts
– Proactive chasing of payments, making sure any queries are resolved before payment date
– Regular interaction with the branches and operation managers to inform of any issues or risk to the business
– Putting accounts on and off stop and maintaining credit limits
– Meeting monthly team cash collection targets
– Supporting the Credit Team Leader and Manager with participating in month end reporting, gaining understanding and developing own reporting skills

What you'll need

– Experience in a fast-paced cash collection/Credit control environment
– Good system knowledge, organisation using SAP and Onguard which are desirable but not essential
– Good team player, with the ability to self motivate and prioritise work to meet targets and deadlines
– Good Excel skills, Pivots and Vlookups are desirable
