Job Description
Credit Controller
Full time permanent role – office based
Mon-Fri (Apply online only)
Burgess Hill. Free parking available nearby. Office based 15/20 minute walk from nearest station
Salary. £24000-£25000 plus good company benefits
This is a great opportunity to join a very friendly and growing business as they seek to recruit a permanent credit controller to join their team.
Responsibilities and duties:
Ensure that invoices issued to customers are paid in a timely manner, within company time-scales
Identifying causes for delays in collection of debt and pro-actively pursue relevant department, in order to recover payment
Answering invoice related queries
Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and prepare reports when requested
Logging and taking payments on the company accounting software
General department administration support as the need arises
Skills and experience required:
Previous office based credit control experience essential
Can work independently and on own initiative
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good team player
A proactive and organised approach to workload
