SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller on the behalf of a well-known business based in Northampton. As a Credit Controller you will join part of close-knit finance department on a permanent basis. Candidates must have experience within Credit Control & be available to start immediately. The suitable Credit Controller will be well organised, have fantastic attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
– They will need to be assertive and confident in dealing with clients by telephone, email and by letter, with a flexible and proactive approach to debt collection.
– Chasing outstanding customer payments as soon as they fall due, escalating any concerns to management.
– Timely processing of customer payments in the financial accounting system.
– Entering banking and BACS payments
– Raising credit notes and obtaining approval from Finance Manager
– Logging invoices onto working debtors spreadsheet
– Entering sales invoices onto the bespoke system
– Administering relevant credits / correcting action
– Filing of remittances / invoices
– Taking Card Payments
– Any other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities as directed by your manager.
