Permanent Opportunity

£25,000 – £27,000
Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30

Our client based in Manchester City Centre, is looking for a Credit Controller to join their fast-growing company. The role is to manage outstanding payments ensuring the company is paid on time and adheres to compliance standards.

Main Responsibilities/duties:

Ensure that all outstanding debts are pursued and collected in accordance with procedures
Developing and maintaining credit control program in collaboration with Associate/Managing Directors
Report any payment problems to the relevant team
Setting up direct debits, issuing court proceedings, sending invoices/statements
Seek out opportunities to improve process, procedures and controls
Liaising with clients and internal staff
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Candidate Requirements:

At least 2 years previous experience as a Credit Controller
Familiar with accounting software's such as CH/Quick-Books/Sage/Xero
A good understanding of legal complexities involved in payment plans, interest rates and other financial matters
Excellent communication skills
