Job Description
Credit Controller – Temp – Property Industry (Must have previous experience working in property)

Salary: £130 – £137 per day PAYE

Location: London, South West

5 Days in the office

Hours: 9.00 – 5.30pm

We are partnering with an ever-evolving property business based in the West End who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a 3 month temporary basis.

Commercial property landlords for more than 50 years, they have many years of experience in placing existing businesses in new premises. With hundreds of properties all over London and the UK they exhibit a passion for the property industry.

Main responsibilities and requirements:

The collection of monthly and quarterly commercial rents, service charges and other adhoc items from tenants in the specified portfolio
Full range of debt collection activities, pursuing debts up to and including instructing Bailiffs or preparing files for Solicitors
Dealing with tenant queries, taking ownership to ensure resolved within the business
Production and despatch of reminder letters (standard and non standard)
Maintaining and updating the tenant ledger database
Analysing tenant's accounts and external financial information
Reporting to Estates and Financial management
Reconciling tenant accounts and refunding credit balances where appropriate
To carry out any additional duties as requested by the Credit Manager

Skills & Experience

Property knowledge would is Essential
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Experience using other Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experience of working in a high volume, target driven environment
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly
Confident and assertive when required
