Job Description
Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Jarrow

Salary: £20 – £25K

A leading manufacturer in Jarrow are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team.

Working Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm you will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

∙Ensuring payments are allocated in a timely manner

∙Follow up with customers in a polite but firm manner to obtain payment

∙Making decisions regarding credit control and order releases

∙Customer query management

∙Account reconciliations

∙Creation of payment plans for customers

∙Management of customer account master data

∙Ad-hoc finance administration

To be considered for the role you must have;

∙ Previous experience in a similar role

∙ Strong IT skills

∙ The ability to work under pressure

∙ Excellent verbal and witten communication skills

∙ Excellent attention to detail

∙ The ability to work independently and as part of a team
