Job Description
Role: Credit Controller
Location: Birmingham & home working
Hourly rate: c£16 ph PAYE
Length of contract: 6 months contract

Our client is a leading IT Organisation based in Central Birmingham who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Chase the Groups overdue bad debt.
Deliver Monthly Collection Targets.
Chase down a ledger of 1000+ accounts.
Maintaining accurate records of correspondence with customers
Provide weekly progress updates to the Credit Controller Team Leader and Group Credit Manager.
Liaise with various internal departments in order to resolve customer queries Skills and experience:

Chasing various credit control related projects – telephone and emails
Ability to work towards strict deadlines
Experience managing a high number of ledgers of live accounts
Experience of regularly chasing overdue invoices, weekly / monthly cash collection forecasting and cash allocation
Ability to work unsupervised, and show high levels on initiative when dealing with customers / internal processes
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external client working relationships
Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience – intermediate – advanced level in MS Excel
