Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST to join our Business Finance team at Florette. Our Business Finance department is key to maximising the profitability of our business, by identifying opportunities or enabling the business to make the best-informed decisions via timely and accurate insight reporting. This is a key role helping to partner our ‘outbound’ functions, comprising of Commercial, Marketing, NPD, Category and Supply Chain.
Working hours: 37.5, Mon to Fri
Location: Based primarily on site – Fradley, Nr Lichfield, Staffordshire
Main Responsibilities
* To assist in all business partnering elements of the commercial and transport function which include: Weekly/Monthly Reports, Forecasting (EYE & Rolling Forecast), Budgets.
* Partner the innovation teams to ensure their plans are in line with our business planning.
* Provide commentary for the monthly packs and Co-Dir review meetings.
* Oversee the overheads for Commercial and Marketing, along with the full P&L for the Transport Fleet Operation.
* Provide weekly and monthly analysis to commercial and transport teams. Consisting of sales and margin performance variances with insight into what are the biggest contributors.
* Assistance for internal and external audits.
Skills and Experience Required
* Experience of analysing large data sets and putting ‘meaning’ behind the numbers.
* Advanced Excel skills
* Understanding and experience of accruals and prepayments for fixed costs.
* Communication and influencing skills.
* Ability to develop effective cross functional working relationships within the business.
* Ideally part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
