AML Officer – Membership Body – Remote working role – Circa £40k-£45k + 9% pensions and private healthcare

Robert Walters are hiring for an AML Officer for a leading international membership body.

This is a remote working role with some travel to local firms and members to conduct visits, but only very infrequent travel required to their London head office.

The position comes with a salary of circa £40k-£45k plus a great benefits package including 9% pension contributions and private healthcare.

The AML Officer is responsible for providing advice to the members on AML queries, updating members with the latest AML guidelines, and reviewing member's AML processes in order to ensure members and the memberhsip body are compliance with all relevant AML legislation.

Responsibilities include:

* Conducting virtual visits with member to review their AML compliance and processes are working properly

* Dealing with AML queries received from members and other AML supervisors.

* Making regular updates to AML documentation, the AML handbook and the AML scheme rules

* Updating AML guidance including preparing and updating website material, newsletters, FAQs etc

* Taking a share alongside other team members in drafting the annual HMT report and assisting the Head of Professional Standards with AML and Financial Crime supervisory responses

* Assisting in dealing with member queries about AML renewals and new registrations and processing new registrations

* Dealing with other ad-hoc matters as required

The company are looking for someone with some prior AML experience, and strong communication and this role requires someone to act as a true business partner.
