We are looking for a Commercial Administrator to work on our rail projects across Network Rail’s Kent, Sussex and Wessex routes. The role involves working closely with and supporting our Quantity Surveyors, as well as engaging with our Operational teams and supply chain partners. Your areas of focus will include but not be limited to reviewing supplier invoices and associated paperwork, ensuring the accuracy of supporting information and liaising with our Sub Contractors as necessary. Invoice approvals and rejections, dealing with supplier queries and offering general administrative support to our Quantity Surveyors.

* This roles requires good numeracy and IT skills, specifically in Excel. COINS experience would be beneficial. Attention to detail and being analytical are also key to this role.
* Due to regular engagement with both internal and external stakeholders
* good communication skills are required.
* We work very much as a team and as such we are looking for a self motivated, collaborative team player.
* Due to the high volume and fast paced nature of the Rail Maintenance works that we undertake, you must have good organisational skills and be able to work under pressure.

Experience and knowledge
Skills
* Office computer skills, Proficient in the use of Excel and spreadsheets.
* Previous experience of COINS would be an advantage.
* Good financial and numeracy skills.
* IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS office and Outlook.
* Experience in a commercial, financial or accountancy role would be preferable and previous administration experience would also be beneficial, although not critical.
* A good aptitude in mathematics is necessary, as is the ability to collaboratively within a team and under pressure.
