C++ Developer

The UK headquarters of this global financial services company creates cutting proprietary software, delivering brokerage and financial applications for a wealth of markets internationally across the electronic trading sphere. Orchestrating FIX messages between the client and server of the trading platform C++ Engineer will be using sockets as well as the Enterprise API. Developing and maintaining a suite if components, the successful applicant will enjoy working within a team are at the pinnacle of their business domain.

Experience:

* 7+ years C++ development experience

* Realtime, multi-threading and concurrency knowledge

* Linux OS with Systems calls, IPC etc.

* Messaging architecture expertise, eg. 29West/Solace

* Inmemory data management and strong data structuring techniques

* Relational databases, design patterns and Algorithm knowledge

With an ability to learn the complex systems, you will need to perform escalated business support and be needed to triage and analysis where relevant. Identifying the fixes and enhancements will be the first step before high quality code implementation will be needed to see the improvements put into practise. This is an exciting role for a Senior C++ Engineer who will enjoy working on greenfield projects as well as getting stuck into existing system enhancements.
