Business Systems Analyst

London

12 month – possible extension

Pay rate – £130,000 Per annum

My high-profile banking client is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst on a 12-month contract, to be based in London (hybrid working arrangement 2 days in office 3 days working from home for a total of 37.5 hours per week)

Summary
Responsible for working on single large scale, multiple projects or a work stream of projects. The Business Analysis function plays a key role during the onset of a project or program by helping define scope and create requirements working closely with business partners to understand and translate needs. This role serves as a contact for IT during the design, development, and testing phase. Functional expertise is required.

Major Duties
* Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
* As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
* Operates independently and has in-depth knowledge of business unit, specific area of expertise and strong knowledge in other areas.
* Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas
* As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
* Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
* Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
* Conducts preliminary analysis
* Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management

Knowledge/Skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
* In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
* Highly flexible and adaptable to change
* Strong Capital Markets knowledge and Prior experience preferred.
* Prior experience in structured project Feasibility analysis is a plus.

Experience Required
A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification is preferred.
