Our client is a highly successful, financial services provider within the Mortgage and Savings space. This is a fantastic opportunity for a relationship focussed, business development individual to join their sales team, developing relationships with mortgage intermediaries to ensure the promotion of their mortgage and related products. This role is to cover Cornwall, Devon and Wales
Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will include:
* Maintain and develop business relationships with existing mortgage intermediaries and Packagers across the defined geographical area in order to increase both the quantity and quality of enquiries and applications submitted to the organisation.
* Build a network of new mortgage intermediaries within the defined geographical area to ensure that they are introducing a significant flow of applications on a monthly basis.
* Provide training, presentations and assistance to mortgage intermediaries as required, to ensure that our products and processes are well understood, utilising their industry experience and contacts. The primary objective is to ensure applications are properly completed and packaged for ease of throughput via our underwriting team.
* Work closely with the Intermediary desk (New Business Team), Compliance and Loans Underwriting teams to ensure that specific cases are handled smoothly through the application process.
* Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that all product materials meet the requirements of the intermediaries and their clients.
* Make suggestions about product, processing or servicing improvements which could be made based on market intelligence.
* Represent the organisation at any relevant industry events in order to promote the organisation and its products, including exhibitions, seminars, awards ceremonies as required.
Our client is seeking someone who has excellent mortgage experience and understanding, who perhaps wants to take their next career step into a field-based Business Development Manager role.
You must have previous mortgage experience, and have a strong background in either relationship building, account management, underwriting or business development
