Job Description
Partnering exclusively with a well-established and ever-growing insurance brokerage, Boxtree are recruiting for an individual to manage a team of underwriters and administrators handling the policy administration of insurance policies. Working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure best practice is adhered to and the department are working within SLAs and agreed binding authority agreements.
Responsibilities:
* Daily organisation of workloads within the team ensuring deadlines and SLAs are met
* Management, training, and development of the team
* Review feedback and implementing any actions required
* Manage and record 1-2-1’s monthly and provide summary reports
* Referral point for risks and queries from the teams
* Being hands on when necessary, working directly with customers to quote or adjust risks
* Handle complaints in line with the current process
* Work with management to ensure efficient processes are adhered to and deadlines met
Required:
* 5 years minimum experience working in a broking or underwriting environment
* 2 years supervisory or management experience
* CII qualification or working to obtain the qualifications
