Bookkeeper & Payroll Clerk Job in NE11, Lamesley, Gateshead

Job Description
The role will involve bookkeeping on our preferred software (VT Transaction+), preparation of VAT returns and preparing payroll on a weekly and monthly basis for a range of clients. The successful candidate will report to the administration manager of the firm.
Requirements:
* Sound knowledge and experience of bookkeeping and payroll procedures.
* Previous experience on VT transaction+ and Brightpay would be an advantage.
* Ability to communicate with a broad range of clients.
* Impeccable attention to detail.
Details of the role:
* To complete bookkeeping up to trial balance level.
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Preparation on weekly and monthly payrolls
* Submission of payroll information to pension providers.
* General office administration duties upon request
