Job Description
Exciting opportunity within an Accountancy Practice for a Bookkeeper based in the Warrington area. This full time, permanent role is well suited to a candidate with previous bookkeeping experience and a history of building good client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a proactive approach and possess excellent communication skills.

Bookkeeper Position Overview

On-site bookkeeping at client premises
Introducing clients to Xero accounting software
Assisting with monthly account production
Balance sheet reconciliation
Accruals and Prepayments
Preparing and posting payroll and fixed asset journals
Bank reconciliations
Weekly and monthly payment runs
Purchase and Sales ledger responsibilities
Building and maintaining client relationships

Bookkeeper Position Requirements

Fully qualified AAT or Qualified by experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
Experience of Xero accounting software
Good knowledge of Microsoft office incl. Excel to a good level
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work to deadlines
Full UK driving licence

Bookkeeper Position Remuneration

Salary of £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience
